No, striatum, it is not necessary to say possibility unless the meaning of the translation needs the word a as in a possibility in order to give the meaning of the origional text. As it stands it reflects the same thought in English and unless it is necessary to "polish" the translation, I think it can stay as it is.

I'm not sure about this, but I would translate it like this:

I will do my best to get a chance so that you fall in love with me again.

Maybe I will do my best to have a second chance at making you fall in love with me again.

but this one is "meaning only".

I can do whatever I can = Je peux faire tout ce que je peux,
is not quite the same as:
Je fais de mon mieux = I am doing my best
Furthermore, "pour obtenir une chance que tu puisses" has disappeared.

From what I see, there is no agreement on how to best edit this, and as the vote is against the translation, I think we will have no choice but to reject this, with no loss of points to sirinler.
