Oana, uite care sunt greÅŸelile gasite de
mine:
1. "poate mai are adrese"- tu ai scris "She may have other e-mail addresses", deci e-mail este ın plus.
2."am parolat contul" - tu ai scris " I did a password for your account" - ın fraza initiala nu scrie " contul tau" deci your este ın plus.
3. "aşa că păcat, văd că eşti disperat"- tu ai scris "What a pitty, I’d say, because I see you really desperate", parerea mea este ca really şi because sunt ın plus.
4."Rău, da' păcat că nu te pot ajuta "- tu ai scris Oh, yes, I’m sorry I can’t help you.
Daca observi fraza initiala este " Rau, dar pacat ca nu te pot ajuta" deci are cu totul alt ınteles. Rau ala dinaintea frazei se refera la situatie, nu este o exclamare.

Nu ÅŸtiu daca m-am putut exprima dar sunt convinsa ca poti corecta traducerea foarte bine Oana. Succes.

Multumesc, Mygunes, revizuiesc textul. Scriu in engleza: I'd like to say that this text is not coherent, you cannot understand if there is any connection between the sentences, that's why one can have many interpretations. Besides, there some changes and corrections in the original text, they didn't exist when I translated it. They were no punctuation marks and no diacritics. For exemple now there is "da'"which before it was "da", they two different things and so on. I don't know wheather it is a good idea that someone should correct the text, if not the one who introduced it. Anyway, let's see the text after it was REVISED. Thank you again, Mygunes

No, this is not ok, because the text is changed. Before it was "vad ca esti disperat rau." and not "vad ca esti disperat. Rau,...". I would like to know who did these changes in the original text, please

Tantine, please, tell me what to do. For exemple before the text was like this: "ti-am parolat contul" which means "I did a password for your account", now it is "Cine e aia pe cine o cauţi - am parolat contul...", which, of course, means something else, as mygunes noticed, too. So, tell me, should I take this last version as reference and modify also the translation or should we wait for the explanations of the one who made the changes in the original text?

Please, guys, don't make any corrections for a while. Believe me, the original text was not this one, someone changed it, put the diacritics, put some puctuation marks and so on. I just want to wait for Tantine's answer if I should do this text again, or wait for the explanations of the person who changed? Before, "rau" was not written with capital letter and there was no comma, so you understand why I translated like this. There was not dot, no comma, no puctuation marks, no capital letters

Hi Oana F

If the source text has been edited, you should translate the new version , since otherwise your translation will not correspond to the submitted text.

For the corrections I noted in the comments box, I didn't explain clearly enough.

In your original you wrote "pitty". It should read "pity" in english. The same goes for "I see you really" which should read "I see you are really..." So I will re do these edits

Ha, I found the original version, the one I translated. I don't agree with the corrections. It is not "am parolat contul" , but "i-am parolat contul". The one who requested the text did copy paste without checking when the sentence ends and now we try to make wild guesses. This is the original version. I suggest that you, romanians, should check it and tell me if the corrections in the last version are right (I think that some of them are not and change the meaning):
"ceau prieteneio nu o cunosc da mi so parut interesant ID astapoate mai are adrese cauto pe alealalte cine e aiape cine cautii-am parolat contuno sa-l mai poata folosi-asa k pacat vad k esti disperat rauda pacat k nu te pot ajutaamu asta e adresa mea".

"Ceau, prietene! Io nu o cunosc, da' mi s-o părut interesant ID ăsta. Poate mai are adrese; caut-o pe alealalte. Cine e aia? Pe cine cauţi? I-am parolat contu', n-o să-l mai poată folosi - aşa că ... păcat. Văd că eşti disperat rău, da' păcat că nu te pot ajuta amu. Asta e adresa mea."

Poate fi o variantă.

Lecocouk, I'm tired of this translation, I gave the original text, someone changed it and I'm not that sure that he/she made the right corrections, but Tantine told me to change also the translation according to the changes made in the original

Hi Oana

Please don't panic, its ok The edits on the original, romanian text were done by iepurica, our infatigable romanian expert

I imagine that she added diacritics and corrected any grammatical mistakes, which is why there is a difference between original version and the version as it stands.

If it's ok for you now too, I'll validate it straight away.

Lecocouk - When you post messages under a translation to english, could you please post in English? I don't speak romanian, which is why I need to poll in the first place. Messages under the translations should be either in english or in the source language (which, in this particular case are one and the same) if they are to be of any help to the expert who is evaluating the translation. Thanks

Thank you, Tantine. It's ok for me, I'll not translate this kind of texts anymore anyway. They have many interpretations because they lack in grammar and, the most important, in punctuation marks. Iepurica tried to help, but she interpreted the text in a different way than I did, I don't know which one is better. You decide...Anyway I changed the translation according to Iepurica's version. I want to say only one thing, that I did my best to translate this text, after that, it was changed, so I received many observations because the others saw the changed version, in the end, I just wasted my time. If only Iepurica hand't changed the original...

Please don't give up doing this kind of translation but think of several things when you do one:

1: If the text is gramatically incorrect or does not have the correct diacritics, call for an admin with the admin button.

2: If things are not completely clear in the original text, don't hesitate to entering into a discussion with the requestor him/herself, they are probably the most likely to give you clear replies about the original itself.

3: When more than one interpretation is possible, don't forget that you can post the different possibilities in the comments box under the translation.

4: Smile Cucumis is about having fun, not about feeling stressed, so never panic just call for Tantine (or any other admin/expert you might need)
