For future translations, please take care to keep the original punctuation and if the source text capitalizes words at the start of sentences, do the same in your translation.
Thanks for contributing to cucumis.org!

J'ai écrit quelque choses à propos de ta dernière traduction. Pourrais-tu jeter un coup d'oeil s'il te plait? Merci.

Yes - you're right. "To make someone do something" means to force or coerce them against their will.
"To allow someone to do something" means to give them the chance to do something that they would otherwise have been unable to do. | | 28 April 2012 22:59 | | | | 9 March 2013 15:47 | LeinNumber of messages: 3389 | Hi RedShadow
You have indicated something could be improved in this translation (click on the link). Please let us know HOW the translation can be improved or what you think is wrong with it, otherwise we can't do anything with your suggestion. Thanks! | | 11 March 2013 11:42 | LeinNumber of messages: 3389 | Thanks! I'll have a look to see if anything needs to be done about the translation. I accepted because you had not replied and many others had voted in favour. See you around! | | 8 November 2013 11:19 | LeinNumber of messages: 3389 | Hi RedShadow,
Good idea - the discussions can get a bit long...
I see what you mean; I am not sure there is a straightforward translation, but I think your suggestion of handling comes closest.
'because of the similar way they are handled' perhaps?
We'll get there, even if it is taking a while | | 8 November 2013 18:06 | LeinNumber of messages: 3389 | You've got it
Phew - that was a long and rather complicated one, so well done! |
