Coool link Ernst! I think I will look back at the blue lagoon cam when it's winter -snow and swimming people, must look a bit weird! We have no geysir, no blue lagoon here, but I found a moosecam :P

The cam from Geysir isn't functioning right now Maybe later.. from there you can see Strokkur (the smaller geysir) which erupt every 10 minutes.

@pias, that's the charm. Being in the water (it has 39-41 C) and over you it's snowing. And you don't even feel the cold. The feeling is absolutely fantastic, it's quite a special experience.

I'll publish it on the Romanian forum too, that's quite interesting.

Hello Andreea long time - no see. That must be a great great feeling to view the webcam and actually have been there!! I can only imagine. Good idea to open a thread in the Romanian forum. Mmaybe we could open something in the English forum too? There's even a cultural section, it could fit well... glimpses from different places around the world. I would love to see what people might post.

Ernst, I saw that... will check back later on the geysir. Hope they will fix the "connection" soon. There are other interesting cams as well on the site you linked.

About the moosecam: don't know if I think it's a "natural study", cause they actually feed the elks there!! I heard about a village, not far from here that had a visit from a calf this late summer, eating apples in a familys garden -so they can't be that shy anyway. Wherever there is food...

Nah... you are NOT stupid Lene! It was actually so much fogg when I first watched... one couldn't see what they were looking at.

... or as Ernst told above, dew and high humidity. I think they need someone to clean the camera lens!! Though ... the picture is better now. Looks like the sun has come out. :-)
