| Dzień dobry, moja droga Aneta! How are you?
Just to ask you a question...
I had a look at the list of experts, and I saw that, at the moment, there are no Ancient Greek experts.
So, who is going to evalute my translations to Ancient Greek?
Thanks |

| Moja droga Aneta,
I want to inform you that I'm not going to connect again for a week, because tomorrow I'm going on holiday and I will stay abroad until 25th of August.
I hope that there won't be problems.
Kisses from Spain!

| I needed Google Translator to understand your message
I'm still a very beginner in Polish. I approach foreign languages as a hobby, I think it's unusual but profitable.
Yes, I think it's useful to do this way. We can find an exhaustive grammar everywhere, Internet helps us in this, but these common expressions (as "thank you" , "hello" , "good-bye!" , "good morning" , "are you OK?" ) often are not included in them.
Would you really teach me some Polish?
Dobranoc!

| Hello dear professor!
Can I really put translations in standby, as an "expert assistant"?
If so, would you mind teaching me how to do it?
Dobranoc.

| Dziękuję bardzo za zrozumiałe wyjaśnienie, Pani profesor!
I have already executed your teachings

PS Sorry for looking like impolite or confusing, it's just my first short text in Polish and you can point out my mistakes, of course. Oh, your Italian is so perfect...

| Oh, my dearest. So sorry for you.
Thanks so much for your Christmas card and espicially for what you wrote in it.
Have to admit that I still haven't sent mine.
Between Chrismas and so much to do just couldn't face to go to the post.
Still not entirely myself.
Will come.
Love. |

| Dear Aneta,
May I ask you some question?
In St. Appolinaris Temple in Classe of Lavenna, the mosaic depicts one scene that Constatinus IV granted the cylinder of privileges to the city's bishop. And on the left-most of the picture, Justinianus II was holding a thing in his hands, but I cannt recognize what a thing it is.
The Greek word "ναÎσκο" puzzles me, because it means a small temple? But is it a miniature of temple that could be held in hands?
I have uploaded the picture on another forum:

or in this thread:

Thanks in advance.

| Dear, Aneta
I doubt if I have misunderstood the source language, so I paste the source text in a request. Please help me:

| Thank you anyway,
don't worry, and USER10 has answered this question in my request list,
the answer is "sapellum", but I am still wondering what did this thing mean in his hands, I guess is it a symbol of power or something relating to the imperial succession?
May you explain to me ?
kowtow to you.
and by the way,
I believe you are a catholic, aren't you?
I am not a christian, but I love the picture of shepherd, and I still have a question on shepherd: Since Jesus was a shepherd, he will kill one of the sheep every several days to feed himself, so can this be cruel to sheep? |
