The very first appearance of Count Dracula isin Bram Stoker's "Dracula". There wasa Dracula in the 15th century: Vlad the Impaler. Stoker didin't know much about him. He was simply looking for some information about vampire beliefs in Transylvania when he came across his name in a book he was researching entitled An Account of the Principalities of Wallachia and Moldovia (1820). This book has very short section on a "Voivode Dracula" who fought against the Turks.

La prima vera apparizione del Conte Dracula Ã¨ nel "Dracula" di Bram Stoker. C'era un Dracula nel XV secolo: Vlad l'Impalatore. Stoker non sapeva molto di lui. Stava semplicemente cercando alcune informazioni sulle credenze riguardanti i vampiri in Transilvania quando incontrÃ² il suo nome in un libro che stava cercando intitolato Un Resoconto dei Principati di Valacchia e Moldavia (1820). Questo libro ha una sezione molto breve su un "Voivode Dracula" che combattÃ© contro i Turchi.
