Y no me equivocaba.

Everybody who knows me, knows how much I enjoy doing those trips for one day to London, Rome, Paris or Beirut to go to the shops and catch the cultural atmosphere of these extraordinary cities. This weekend I took advantage of the offer of British Airways and I found myself in Beirut. I've bought some things at Harrod's and Leryo Merlin and passing by the West End of the city, my attention was drawn by a spectacle that was about to be performed for the first time on the Yussuf Memorial Palace: "Arafat on ice".

Without giving it a second thought I've took two seat in the stalls (one for me and the other for my coat and bags) and prepared myself to enjoy the show. It's not necessary to mention neither the stupefaction that seized me with the speed with which this montage about the Palestinian country was prepared nor the suspicion that this really was a hidden smart commercial maneuver in order to take advantage of his recent decease.

And I wasn't mistaken.

The score, the signature of the irregular Christophe Abderraman III, of whom I remember the "The phantom of the Golan Highs" or sometimes the pamphletic "Join Hezbollah!".

The libreto was charged to the unknown to me Jacob Cohen (I read in the playbill: "Former liutenant of the Israel army")

As any spectacle in the format "on ice" the montage . The personages were built on the basis of absurd expressions and a dramatic effect and the fourth wall was breaking all the time. But let's leave.
