Is there choice of administrative institution?

Yes, under the choice of fund legislation that commenced on 1 July 2005, employers have must
pay the mandatory contributions to a fund chosen by the employee.

Yes in personal pension plans, contributions must either be paid into a complying regulated superannuation fund (generally) operated as a trust by a trustee, or into a Retirement Savings
Account
