"ceramist" is an artisan who makes ceramic objects or artwork. He does not "apply" ceramic plates.

I see, but I couldn't find a proper word in English. Do you have any suggestion?

What would be logical is the verb "make", but I don't know if that conveys the original. You tell me.
Try to think in a synonym for the verb in Bosnian...that may help.

The verb is ok, but the noun "ceramist" isn't. I can't remember the English word for someone who sets ceramic plates, someone who sticks them on the wall in bathroom.

Oh, well that's totally different!

What you mean is not "ceramic plates", but tiles. That person who lays the ceramic tiles is a bricklayer.
Therefore the sentence should read:

Bricklayer with experience lays all types of ceramic tiles.

In Bosnian and Serbian a bricklayer is a person skilled in building with bricks (zidar) and we have the other word for someone who lays the ceramic tiles (keramičar). "Keramičar" doesn't make buldings. That's why I had problem to find a proper word.
Tnx, Lilian.
