Grazie. Grazie per tutta la pazienza...
Text
Submitted by Mariketta
Source language: Italian

Grazie.
Remarks about the translation
Shade è un nome egiziano, quindi se potete trascriverlo in arabo ve ne sarei grata.
La pronuncia è Shadì.

Thank you. Thank you for all the patience you have with me.
Thank you for all the times you have known how to listen to me and understand me.
Thank you for surprising me every day.
Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
Thank you for always fixing supper to me.
Thank you for waiting until I fall sleep to do it yourself, at night.
Thank you for making me smile whenever I am sad.
Thank you for your kindness, your availability, your sincerity and your righteousness.
Thank you for existing and for bringing life back to my life.
Thank you my love, for each second of each minute of each hour of each day of these three years.
I love you Shade... I love you to death, my angel.

I have a few problems with the translation, which I find to be to much of a translation of Italian structure as well as meaning:

1. Mistakes in English-

unconditionally and not inconditionally
fixing supper or making supper for me, not to me
sincerity and not sicerity
no such word as rightness in my opinion

2. Translation mistakes

fell asleep and not fall asleep- we are in the past tense, no?

Disposal is not the right word here. She probably means "availability" or even "attention"

saying "thank you for your disposal" sounds like she disconnected her disposal system from her sink and gave it to you as a gift! I don't think that is what happened.

Hi iyyavor:

Thanks for pointing out the problems you found in the text.

Let's see...

unconditionally and sincere
sorry for the misspelling
fixing supper for me, I understand that she fixes the supper instead of him (of course I may be wrong, you tell me)
rightness is used in everyday English, however the correct word is: righteousness (I'll edit that)
fall asleep (we are not in the past tense)
availability sounds better

What do you think?
