Rosa Parks was born on February 4th, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama, United States. She was an American citizen, and she moved to Detroit because of the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
She had several jobs: dressmaker, chambermaid, and nurse's aide; but from 1955 onwards she fought for civic rights.
Her life came to an end on October 24th, 2005, in Detroit, Michigan.
