| | Le problème, mis à part le fait que nous avons décidé de ne plus traduire les mots isolés, c'est que la signification exacte de ce mot peut tout aussi bien désigner une planche à découper qu'une tondeuse pour les moutons, d'où notre saturation par rapport à ces demandes de traduction de mots isolés/ problem is, apart from the fact we decided not to translate single words anymore on cucumis, that the exact meaning of this word could be a cutting board, as well as a razor for animals hair, this is why we are overloaded with these translation requests from single words... |

| | Salut Franck,

Spanisch: falsch
Englisch: falsch= richtig ist es cutting Plates |

| | Hi Rodrigues!
It seems you were right, after all!
I didn't understand the meaning of the "cutting plates" you had suggested, so I just went ahead and followed the French!
leticiaschlup described how those "cutting plates" were used in German. (I wonder why she didn't give us that explanation earlier, so we wouldn't have wasted all this time, trying to figure out what "Schneideplatten" were used for!) However, I'm still not clear as to how they are used, because my German is very rusty. Can you explain what she said in English, and help me understand just what Schneideplatten are, and what they are used for?
Thanks in advance!
Hmmm...I guess that's why at we don't usually accept single words, completely out of context... |

| | She said:
"They are nothing, on which you cut onto.
It's used at chirurgic operations. It's unsafe if it's an aid to open channels or if it's use mounted on a tool like a drill and then will be cutted with them".
I know "Schneideplatten" from milling heads, where you use many of them mounted... |

| | Thank you, Rodrigues, I think I understand a little better now!
Anyway, "cutting plates" it is: I'll change the English translation now!
And I'll give you the 11 points this translation was worth, to say I'm sorry I ignored your excellent advice! |
| | 25 Tháng 10 2007 15:16 |
| | no problem. The points you don't need to transfer. By JP I'm not permitted to do english translations. Therefor I couldn't do it. |

Thanks again: I hope to get your valuable advice and help again sometimes in the future as well! |
