India is a country with more than 1 billion inhabitants. The number of inhabitants is also their biggest problem in the country. The number has increased since 1999 by 2.6 % and this means, if this development continues, India will in future years pass China, in terms of number of inhabitants. 70% of the inhabitants have almost nothing and live in something you hardly can call a house. About 30% live in a middle class environment. There are still people living in an upper class environment - but they are not many.
