Mie oon Lordi on syksyllä 2006 julkaistu virallinen Lordi-yhtyettä käsittelevä kirja. Kirjan on kirjoittanut Helsingin Sanomien kulttuuritoimittaja Jussi Ahlroth.

Kirja käsittelee Lordi-yhtyeen kaikkien entisten ja nykyisten jäsenten, etenkin keulakuva Tomi Putaansuun elämää lapsuusvuosista nykypäiviin saakka. Kirja sisältää myös runsaasti ennenjulkaisematonta kuvamateriaalia etenkin yhtyeen alkuajoilta. Mie oon Lordi sisältää yhtyeen laajan historian lisäksi myös kattavan liiteosion, jossa käsitellään yksityiskohtaisesti muun muassa yhtyeen lavaesiintymistä, naamarien tekoa, oheistuotteita ja yhtyeen tärkeää innoittajaa, KISSiä.

"Mie oon Lordi" ( I am Lordi) is an official book about the Lordi band published in the fall of 2006. The book was written by Jussi Ahlroth, culture editor for the Helsingin Sanomat.

The book discusses Lordi band's previous and current members, with an emphasis on the lead figure Tomi Putaansuu's life from childhood to the present day. In the book you will also find a great deal of previously unpublished pictures especially of the band's beginnings. "Mie oon Lordi" contains an extensive history of the band and an exhaustive supplement, that describes in detail, amongst others, the band's stage appearances, mask construction, fan products, and the band's main inspiration, KISS.

Good language, but some suggestions:
*the name of the book is "Mie oon Lordi" which I think should be used as this is a text about the original book written in Finnish and not the translation. Of course the translation of the name should be offered too, but maybe in the remarks. And better to use "" also second time the name is mentioned.
*the name of the newspaper in any language is "Helsingin Sanomat" not Helsinki Sanomat!
*"keulakuva" is not translated, literally "lead figure", maybe: with empahsis on the band leader Tomi...
*"perviously unseen" actually the text says the photos are "unpublished"
*"supporting supplement" does it mean the supplement is big, having a lot of info???
*"widget" is a new word for me... does it mean the additional (fan) products (i.e. dvd, t-shirts etc)

Yes, Maribel, thank you for your points. All valid ones. :-)I kept the commas in the original text without adding or removing, as I felt that it wasn't up to me.
