Hi Lilian, the English version and the French version are slightly different, the French version (that was approved by Pluiepoco) says : "Il y a tant de fleurs qu'elle n'arrive pas à les tenir toutes dans ses bras." ( "There are so many flowers that she can't hold them all in her arms" )

@ pluiepoco : In this translation into English, it seems there are more numerous details than in the French version you approved recently. Could you tell me whether it is right or wrong? Thanks!

@ Francky: The English translation is more detailed. However the French translation is right, because it is only a rough translation. The requester doubted about the end of the sentence.

Thanks pluie! So the French version should be more detailed, as if the English version is the one that is complete, the French version misses some details such as "because of this, she was presented with..." (which the French version does not mention)
I'll ask the translator to add the necessary details thus.

Thanks again!

In the Chinese sentence it says the woman was presented with a bunch of flowers (because of some untold accomplishment or task completion) and the French translation is completely void of this detail. In the English translation I may have incorrectly used the word "carry" instead of "hold", but at least all the information is presented. Also, for such a grammatically simplistic sentence such as this one, a direct and detailed translation is suitable.

I think "hold" is better than "carry".

Thanks pluie

May I edit with "hold" or will you do it?

cc Franck.
Il va peut-être falloir corriger la traduction
française aussi:

"tenir"" au lieu de "porter".

A toi de voir.

Merci Lene!

Hello Lein, in order to go faster, I allowed myself to edit both the French and the English version according to pluiepoco's remarks, and I validated the French version.

encore moi Franck.

Est-ce-que ce sont les bouquets de fleurs (masculin)
ou les fleurs(féminin)
qu'elle ne pouvait pas tenir??
Je sais, question bête, mais question quand même.

Composant le bouquet, il y avait tellement de fleurs qu'elle ne pouvait pas les tenir toutes.
