as fluid flows left to right , a flexible structure forces it into a narrover patch towards the upper part of the channel.this imposes a force on the structure`s walls,due to viscous drag and fluid pressure, which in turn deforms the structure and changes the fluid`s path.
the animation shows the structure`s deformation and velocity vector over the time , while the graph shows the horizontal position of the structure`s tip.
