| | sadzie --> s Ä…dzie.
Trochę nie rozumiem o co chodzi w drugim zdaniu. Rozumiem, że to zdanie jest jakoś wyrwane z kontekstu. |

| | No tak to wygląda. W uwagach na temat tłumaczenia Justyna zamieściła notatkę: "Texten är skriven på det sättet, i den stilen som jag har översatt den".Co znaczy: " Tekst jest napisany w taki sposób i takim stylem w jakim wykonałam to tłumaczenie". Tekst jest trochę niespójny, ale wykonałam to tłumaczenie według szwedzkiego tekstu. Pozdro. |

To jest most od Cisy:
"So, hello, what should be done with the house?/How about the house? It should be done/arranged by the court, both the paternal and maternal parts. If you don´t need them, should sell them."

Cisa typed:
"...If you don´t need them, should sell them."
Dear Pia, could you tell me what these "them" refers to in this sentence above? To the "parts" (paternal and maternal)?
Edyta says Swedish version differs in this place.. Moreover, according to the bridge "YOU should sell them".. (no: if it is not for sale).
This is a bridge from Edyta's translation:
Hi, what about the house? You have to sort it out in the court (or: "you have to bring the case to court" ), both part of the father and the mother as a civil action, if a house is not (going) for sale.

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | I think Edyta's bridge is wrong! It doesn't tell what that "them" is about. We can only guess. (IMO it refers to "the parts" ) The Swedish translation correspond with the English bridge, done by Cisa. At least from what I can see. I'll CC Lena/ Piagabriella... for a second opinion
PS. If Edyta had read the note under the translation... she would have known the source text is written that way. I'm affraid I can't help more here Aneta. You might have to ask Cisa again, but I doubt she can help more since she also wrote: "The text is a bit messed up". |

Edyto, Pia uważa, że szwedzkie tłumaczenie odddaje treść mostu Cisy. Skoro tak, polskie tłumaczenie powinno wyglądać tak jak wyżej wspomniałam. Nic dodać nic ująć.
Jak widzisz, przetłumaczyłam dla niej na angielski Twoje polskie tłumaczenie, a ona uznała je za niezgodne ze szwedzkim, więc...
Pozdrawiam. |

| lenabNumber of messages: 1084 | As I don't know any of those languages, I can't tell if it should refer to "the house" (it)or "the parts" (them). The Swedish text says IT ant the English text says THEM, so I don't know.... Sorry! |

| | Dear Cisa, I got the following bridge of yours from Pia:
"So, hello, what should be done with the house?/How about the house? It should be done/arranged by the court, both the paternal and maternal parts. If you don´t need them, should sell them."
Could you tell me what these "them" refers to in the last sentence? To the "parts" (paternal and maternal)?
And are you sure it is saying about selling the parts, if you need them?
Edyta translated this text into Polish this way:
Hi, what about the house? You have to sort it out in the court (or: "you have to bring the case to the court" ), both part of the father and the mother as a civil action, if a house is not (going) for sale.
So I am confused. Please help me. CC: Cisa |

| CisaNumber of messages: 765 | Hi!
Sorry for the late reply. I wrote "them", because before it mentions both the maternal and the parental ones, but in the Hungarian text due to the nature of indirect/direct conjucation of verbs (aka having objects or no) in Hungarian it stays unclear whether they mean only one part or both. However, since they mention both, I chose to write a plural form.
Hope this helps.
Have a lovely weekend!

| | Thank you so much, Cisa! You helped indeed.
But what about the rest? Have you read my bridge from Polish translation? It differs a bit. |
| | 30 August 2010 09:16 |
| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | What's the problem, Aneta? You have a bridge from Cisa... and she confirmed, it is about "the parts".
Lena (about the Swedish translation)
Reading your post again, I see you translate "det" as "it" (ref. to the house) I don't agree. I interpret the word "det" in this sentence as "that" (ref. to the "the parts" ) I still think the Swedish translation correspond to the bridge given by Cisa. So, I'm confused how to edit... any proposals, please? |
| | 30 August 2010 09:40 |
| | No problem Pia. Just the Polish version differs. But I think Edyta will improve it.
I have nothing more to do.

Edyto, proszę popraw swoje tłumaczenie tak, by korespondowało z mostem Cisy. Dziękuję. |

I had a pm from Lena yesterday and to make the Swedish translation more understandable (I guess you translated from that one?) I will change "det" ---> "dem". |

| | Hej Antea!

Pozdrawiam |
