I think it should be "we have passed our quality certificate ISO TS 16949 inspection"

and what is the difference between "transfer line of 1000-tons of capacity" and "1000-ton capacity transfer line"?

Hi Kafetzou,

Would it be better to put "The studies...have begun" ? (I'm basing myself on the French version in order to "help with the evaluation".

Don't commas exist in Turkish?

It would have made for easier reading if you had been "allowed" to put some in your translation, I know we are not meant to add any punctuation that wasn't in the original.

Tantine,
Kafetzou a traduit d'aprés le turc donc "çalışmaları" peut être les travaux ou les études en turc il y a beaucoup de mots qui ont plusieurs significations donc en français j'ai choisis études mais j'aurais aussi pu dire les travaux la traduction de Kafetzou est bonne. Pour la ponctuation je suis d'accord avec toi souvent on ne comprend rien par manquede ponctuation.

As turkishmiss said above, I had to make a choice. I thought in this case that it was more likely to be "work" than "studies" (very different in English, but the same word in Turkish, in this case).

Where would you like to see a comma? In Turkish, the grammatical relationships are often clear without punctuation, so I've begun putting it in in many translations from Turkish, but in this case I didn't see where a comma was needed. Suggestions are welcome, though.

As for smy's comment above, I agree that "we have passed our quality certificate ISO TS 16949 inspection" would sound better in English, but unfortunately, that's not what it says in Turkish (and I don't understand why not).

And for your second question, smy, we usually put turn the describing noun into an adjective (1000-ton capacity) in cases like this and put it in front of the noun in English - the meaning is the same, but it sounds more English this way.

and the inspection certificate was received.

I don't know what the original meant by saying "onay yazımız alınmıştır.But I feel like this is an inspection and they have the qualifications according to inspection criteria .but I still can't understand ...original sentence is a little bit absurd. what is "onay yazımız"

"onay yazı" is not an inspection certificate? What is it then, more like an "acceptance document"?

I can't even see where I wanted those commas any more Kafetzou, it just seemed like the phrases were very long.

Must be the torrid summer breeze creating mirages.

Sorry

bu resmi dil olduğu için edilgen yapı kullanılmış, yani aslında "biz geçtik" anlamına geliyor.

Our quality certificate ISO TS...inspection... had been passed successfuly yanlış mı olur?

Peki "başarı ile geçildi" için "gone through successfuly" uygun olmaz mı? yani we had gone through..... inspection....successfuly?

smy, is there really a good reason to change this? Don't you think the requester is getting what he wanted?

I'm not quite sure because "Our inspection passed quality certificate..." sounds strange to me but you are the one whose mother language is English. yani our quality certificate inspection has been passed size yanlış mı geliyor?

"Our inspection of quality certificate ISO TS 16949 for the automotive industry has passed successfully and the inspection certificate has been received." şeklinde olmalı.

I think that some words are forget in the translation from spanish: like "superado con exito" is not just "succesfully" and "en torno al significado" I'm not sure you can translate it with "environmental"

to my point, it should be:
Nous avons passé avec succès l'audit pour ISO TS 16949 de l'industrie automobile et avons reçu le certificat.
Nous avons commencé à travailler sur l'ISO 14001
Notre ligne de production d'une capacité de 1000 tonnes a été mise en service

This is a translation from the Turkish, not from the Spanish or the French. In the Turkish, it does not say "We passed ...", although that is certainly what it means. Instead, it says "Our inspection passed ...," so that is what I translated.

The Turkish original is awkward, so the translation is, too.
