Çeviride 2. cümlenin başlangıcındaki "C'est ma maison" unutulmuş. Onun dışında herşey tamam gibi. |

| | Hi handyy
Without adequate punctuation, it is very difficult to be categorical about the line in question. The part which reads "C'est ma maison" (It is my house/home) seems to be disconnected somehow from the rest of the text.
Can you tell me what the remarks in the "remarks about the translation say?
Bises
Tantine |
| | 24 Január 2009 02:05 |
| | Yup, certainly looks to me like something was cut/lost from the beginning: we don't know what "...is my house."
Anyway, Love is my reason (either my reason for living, or my ability to be rational, or both), Happiness is my law, and my most beautiful story is certainly you.
The metrical/rhyme scheme of the poem/lyrics also supports the idea that something is missing at the beginning here.
This may not be the right reference, but maybe le monde est ma maison? |

| handyyHozzászólások száma: 2118 | 44Hazal44 said in the remarks about the translation that s/he thought that "C'est ma maison" is needless there, that's why s/he didn't use it. Yet, Detan offered that it could mean "I dream/think about a home at which love is my reason, happiness is my law and my most beautiful story is, of course, you."
Could that be possible? What do you say? |
| | 25 Január 2009 10:15 |
| | Nope. I'm quite certain that there's just a part missing in the quotation here...
(That explanation wouldn't make grammatical sense in French.) |

| | You know what...
I just looked at this source text again, and he says:
Salut, ça va tout le monde?
and according to this song here, the words
"le monde" should come before "c'est ma maison"!
So,
Salut, ca va tout le monde? Le monde, c'est ma maison...etc.
it looks like the second "le monde" was just dropped, because of the repeat... |

| handyyHozzászólások száma: 2118 | You're amazing!
Theeen...what does it [Salut, ca va tout le monde? Le monde, c'est ma maison l'amour c'est ma raison...] mean now? I cannot get the difference. (Wish I could understand French even a little!) |

| gamineHozzászólások száma: 4611 | Hello Handna. Sorry to interfere in this discussion, bbut I have read al the comments and I do agree with IanMegill's last commnent cconcerning the song: AMI-O: "I think it should be translated as following:
Hello, how are you everybody. The world is my
home, love is my reason, happiness is my law
and my most beatiful story is ,of course, you.
The French word "monde" have several meanings and in this context it means:"everybody"" and "world.
Don't know if this can help you, but I do hope. |
