| This really is very interesting!
Well, I think everybody here know my nick, because of all those translations.
I like this nick cause seems sweet and it combines with my personality.
Only one person in the world can call me this way (in real life, hehe) before cucumis. So it's more than special
I hate my real name (as I said in portuguese forum) cause it's very common in Brazil.
But is Daiane.
I can't believe I said that in a forum.... |

| Amal is very common as well, I HATE IT TOO :s |

| I don't know what "menininha" means - I know it has a diminutive ending, but that's all I know - I don't speak Portuguese, so please help me out!
elmota, why do you hate Amal? Actually, I always thought it was a boy's name - there's a famous legend called "Amal and the Night Visitors".
Guilon, thanks for saying you knew I was a woman from my writing - that's reassuring. |

| Kafetzou,
Menininha is the diminutive of Menina (Girl).
Please, see my profile: Menininha.
I ask for translations in many languages.
I knew that you are a woman too. lol |

Elmota your name meaning is beautiful... |

| Hmm - well pluiepoco still thought I was a man even after he saw my MySpace page (My Space page?). |

| Hi, I'm also new to this place and I might as well introduce me somewhere.
Ylva=female wolf
Gustafsson=son of Gustaf
Ylva is a quite uncommon name with only about 9000 women named after the wolf.
Gustafsson is one of the ten most common names in Sweden and it doesn't mean I am anyones son.

We all hope that you have a good time here in Cucumis! |

| Thank you Goncin.
I have already been helped (even if the answer confused me somewhat) and it seems to be a nice and helpful place this.
I'm sure I will enjoy my stay here! |

CisaNumber of messages: 765 | My nick actually means ´cat´. In Hungarian, cat is macska or cica (tsee-tsaah). And when you want to say it more funnily, then you say it like see-saah. It´s a really simple nick... |
| 14 August 2007 14:06 |
| 'Cat' here in Brasil means 'very gorgeous, sexy and charming person'.
Gato (m)
Gata (f)
Gatinho(gatinha) gently. |

CisaNumber of messages: 765 | Well, Cisa is near to gatinha I think... Hm.. I´ll change my name into Portuguese, I like it really much! |
| 14 August 2007 14:46 |
| Cisa is very cute! Pretty nick Cisa.
Casper, aren't you gonna explain you nick? |
| 14 August 2007 15:18 |
| There's nothing so 'fantastic' to explain... |

| Nickname or name? Nick name, many already know, iepurica = little (she) rabbit. My real name is Andreea, by the way and that means (I just have found out from charisgre) "boldness". I guess this is exactly what is missing from my character... |

handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | hi ım one of new members of cucuworld!
my nick derives from my real name; Handan, and so does my real name from Parsian. It means 'happy, cheerful'.
In some old Turkish movies 'Handan' was used for vamp woman thus ı hated my name when ı was a child. Yet after learning its meaning ı forgave it and now ı really like it! |
