Thanks Thais and Casper or the links, here's one from
Hermeto Pascoal , who is one of the most creative musicians I know.
I loved images from Cearà and Curibita (with music from "the Cure"!), but didn't enjoy too much Sao Paulo, which is a too big city (from my personal point of view, one of these days I'll show you some pictures from the place I live, and this is really countryside comparated to Sao Paulo, something like 2000 times less inhibitants!)
Here it is the nice season coming on, and I'm going to enjoy Normandy sun, for once it is not raining! obrigado for the exchange, it was very nice! Cheers!

Hey Francky!
I live in interior (countryside?) of São Paulo State.. It's a small town. But, about São Paulo City... all the cities has the good and bad places. I don't like there to live but is great to go out at night!
But I agree that Curitiba and Fortaleza are rare beauties...

The town where I live is 8600 inhibitants! It is a small town names Avranches, very close to the Mont Saint Michel, which is the most touristic place of Normandy, I'll send you a link, you'll see that it's really countryside! Have a look
here! . About my town, it is so small that all I could find is
here But it is a nice place, with a good quality of life...

Moi j'habite... ops! I live in Melide (CH, not Spain), a "famous" town (village or something with 1661 abitants) because of his bridge that connect Nord-Sud of Europa, and his "Swissminiature". His site is here
here you can find the wikipedia's page, and is near to Lugano (50000 abitants). For me, Lugano is a very beautiful town, for the town itself, and the "mountains"

I've made a little photo Melide about 1 year ago...

I just visited São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Vitória(ES), Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Foz de Iguaçú and the region Algarve in Portugal and Lisboa.
It's really a difference in hearing to the people in that different regions!
Also the "slang" at TV "RTPi" / "RedeRecord" (what I can assist here in Germany via Satelite is really big different. The Record (brazilian TV) is easier to understand than the portugues RTP. I assisted just a few telenovelas but had to take a big attention for understanding it. The portuguese folk are "eating" the vocals and closer up the words..
At my work I sometimes have some phonecalls to two portuguese companies - but it is to manage the conversion in portuguese - I don't like to speak english :-)

Brazil and Portugal are two very nice countries for holidays (or visiting family)...

Menininha, Sertaozinho (sorry I don't have the Portuguese diacritics) is too small for a 21 years old girl, it is normal, no? At this age, I was feeling like moving from my town too, and even in much bigger towns than Avranches, I was feeling bored. When I was 19 I bought myself a plane ticket for Israel (a one way ticket!)then there I lived and worked in many different places, but especially Jerusalem, and a kibbutz in Galil. But now that I'm much older, I enjoy quality of life we've got here in this small town, it is close to the sea then we've got very beautiful countryside, I enjoy my friends, and my son isn't living too far from me. Maybe one day you'll think the same as I now think about my town.
Swiss is very, very beautiful, with its lakes and mountains, there are very majestuous landscapes over there.
I've been travelling in some countries in Europe, like England, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece, Yugoslavia (it still was in one country at these times), I've even been in Swiss but I didn't see a lot of things, as I was sleepling in the bus (you know, the famous "magic bus" -the rock band "the who" made a song about it!-or was it because of this song that the guy called his travel agency "magic bus"? actually I don't know...). Yes, travelling is good when you're young, I mean it is good when you're old as well, but I think it is more important to travel when you're young, it opens your eyes (and your mind as well!).
Now I'm travelling on cucumis, it is good to meet friendly people like you from all over the world, in a way I'm keeping travelling this way!
Obrigado, cheers!

Lyrics from song "magic bus" (The Who)

Every day I get in the queue (Too much, Magic Bus)
To get on the bus that takes me to you (Too much, Magic Bus)
I'm so nervous, I just sit and smile (Too much, Magic Bus)
You house is only another mile (Too much, Magic Bus)

Thank you, driver, for getting me here (Too much, Magic Bus)
You'll be an inspector, have no fear (Too much, Magic Bus)
I don't want to cause no fuss (Too much, Magic Bus)
But can I buy your Magic Bus? (Too much, Magic Bus)

Nooooooooo!

I don't care how much I pay (Too much, Magic Bus)
I wanna drive my bus to my baby each day (Too much, Magic Bus)
I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it ... (You can't have it!)
Thruppence and sixpence every day
Just to drive to my baby
Thruppence and sixpence each day
'Cause I drive my baby every way

Magic Bus, Magic Bus, Magic Bus ...

I said, now I've got my Magic Bus (Too much, Magic Bus)
I said, now I've got my Magic Bus (Too much, Magic Bus)
I drive my baby every way (Too much, Magic Bus)
Each time I go a different way (Too much, Magic Bus)

I want it, i want it, I want it, I want it ...

Every day you'll see the dust (Too much, Magic Bus)
As I drive my baby in my Magic Bus (Too much, Magic Bus

Rock it!
This is the second time you talk about a rock band.
First one was The Cure.
I got a rock list (the only one) at my blog.

Sorry I was studying, is so bad that I came here at night and see so many posts... I lose myself haha...
My town has... let me check it...
3.415.455 inhabitants... uuuh...
But I don't live too close of the beaches... is like 20km (I don't know how much miles...).
Here is very calm, and has many open fields...
Thanks Francky for liking(?) Fortaleza! I'm sure Menininha's town is also good.
I don't blame myself for living in a part away from BIG TOWN... I like it... very much. I think I'm getting old soon haha.
I don't want to cause no fuss
But can I buy your Magic Bus?
Nooooooooo
Cool!
You guys are travelers! I didn't got out of Ceará!!! But as Francky I like to travel in cucumis... And in other things more, I travel when I'm playing (instrument), When I'm reading (Oh how much I like it), when I'm studying... These things keep me alive hehe, because is so difficult for me to get out even from my own home!!! Haha, I'm a Hikikomori (or another word that looks like that. Xini told me about them once).

Keep rocking guys...
Love you all.
