kafetzou you said :
"I still don't know how to do that thumbnail img thing - it didn't work"
Get back on it and right click on it. A small window will open, click on "properties" then copy the url (who is ending most of the time by "jpg", or "img" then paste it after having clicked on "edit" on your post, at the place of the one you used. you know the syntax, as I could see you posted pic already.

I did it and it gives that

melon

Hope it works...
Sorry, it seems not to work, I'll try with the link...

Thathavieira!!!

You are the "Cucumber-Computer-Guru"!
There is nothing wrong with your explanations. Maybe my female cucumber make both Francky and Kafetzou a bit dazzled and confused.

lemon cucumber

Lemon cucumber This versatile cucumber is sweet and flavorful, and doesn't have much of the chemical that makes other cucumbers bitter and hard to digest. Though it's often served raw, it's also a good pickling cucumber. Substitutes: green cucumber (not as delicately flavored)

I have taken a look at Porfyhr's posts and those of all of you.

As to the name cucumis, it was a mess. At the far beginning when I made the Chinese translation of Cucumis, I avoid the watermelon meaning, because I found cucumis did not include watermelon probably. But jp and his coworkers did like the sharing meaning of watermelon, even though I did not understand. My version of Chinese name is in fact cucurbit baby[葫芦娃], since cucurbit is any of various mostly climbing or trailing plants of the family Cucurbitaceae, which includes the squash, pumpkin, cucumber, gourd, watermelon, and cantaloupe. and 葫芦娃is a welcomed cartoon image in China, he is brave and helpful, and rescue people in danger. ..........Yet, as I said before and after, jp feared that 葫芦娃 was registered, but that did not exist really in China. And the later-mentioned French-Chinese madly attacked me on the point of Taiwan, and finally jp and the guy agreed on the name 西瓜村watermelon village.

Later, another French-Chinese (originated from Taiwan) came here to make another Chinese name of cucumis, that is what we see today on the top of this Chinese version, which was agreed between all of us, meaning watermelon village.

If you continue to discuss the suitability of cucumis, then my Chinese name will prevail again.

I'm sorry, I don't know the climate in North Europe, and maybe I said something very stupid, for example, North Europeans don't have summer and they don't like to eat watermelon, since Porfyhr has verified that North Europeans do have Summer and Eat Watermelon.

But at least, my suggestions about different skins can be an alternative good for change of seasons.

Let's have different skins in different seasons, that is the least!

And beside these, we can further explore other interesting meanings of Cucumis.

And to be greedy, we can provide different skins specific to different countries or languages or cultures. hehe.............

Delegation of jp's powers to every version.
