The meaning seems fine to me. Just a couple of things:
- in the summer vacation
- the summer vacation is a defined period (pretty much) so I think it would be better to say 'I have been to the country'. What do you reckon? | | 2009년 10월 16일 16:13 | | | | 2009년 10월 16일 16:45 | | "Then I went out WALKING with some friends. | | 2009년 10월 16일 17:08 | | | | 2009년 10월 16일 19:20 | | Who is Lene?
and
Where is " some" ? | | 2009년 10월 16일 19:53 | | Lene = gamine
I agree with her about "walking". | | 2009년 10월 16일 20:36 | | spazieren gehen = to go for a walk | | 2009년 10월 17일 07:21 | | Then I went out FOR A WALK with my friends. | | 2009년 10월 17일 15:34 | | Well, I think that "I went out walking" or "I went for a walk" signifies exactly the same thing. , but Merdogan is right. There is no "some" . "I went out walking/I went for a walk with MY friends.
CC: maglat | | 2009년 10월 18일 02:20 | | oh, sorry gamine, didn't notice your post which corrected the same thing. i apologize, just saw the original translation and thought no one noticed the "walking" part, but now i see you did. i meant exactly the same thing basically ) | | 2009년 10월 18일 13:54 | | I think it is almost correct, however I'd rephrase the first sentence... I have been to the country during the summer vacation. | | 2009년 10월 19일 00:23 | | Hello maglat. Don't worry. No problem. It oftens happens to me to. Welcome to our . | | 2009년 10월 19일 08:01 | | for "during" there is nothing in original text. | | 2009년 10월 19일 08:33 | | I think it has to end with: Then i went for a walk with my friends. | | 2009년 10월 19일 12:15 | | Do you agree with the 'walking' thing, Merdogan?
How would you prefer the last sentence? I will then edit and validate. | | 2009년 10월 19일 14:43 | | I WENT TO the country FOR summer vacation.
spazieren — to stroll
I went to the country for summer vacation. There, I went to a cafe. Then, I went out for a stroll with my freinds.
| | 2009년 10월 19일 17:45 | | I think the German text has still some mistakes: "auf dem Lande sein" --> "auf dem Lande gewesen"; "habe spazieren gegangen" --> "bin spazieren gegangen"; I would surely add "walking" in the last sentence. | | 2009년 10월 21일 08:14 | | I would make it. Then I went out for a walk with my friends. | | 2009년 10월 21일 09:20 | | Dear Friends,
I took it as " Ich bin.......gewesen"
It is not "to go" . It is "to be" | | 2009년 10월 21일 12:36 | | Hi Merdogan, from all the comments I would suggest
I have been to the country in the summer vacation. There, I went to a cafe. Then I went for a walk with my friends.
Do you agree? Can I edit and accept?
Thanks! |
