Habitat: Attached to rocky or sandy ground, where the strength of the current is small to medium, enabling it to capture prey. The sea anemone is a multicellular animal or simply-organized metazoan (eumetazoan) whose various functions are carried out by tissues and organs made of specialized cells, irritant cells (cnidoblasts) which capture the prey on which the animal feeds.
