Esta monografia tem por objetivo analisar a comunicação informal nas organizações. Foi utilizada a metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica através do levantamento de literaturas brasileiras já publicadas principalmente em forma de livros, que abordam os temas de comunicação organizacional, formal e informal.
A comunicação interna ocorre de acordo com duas grandes redes dentro das empresas, uma formal e outra informal, sendo que a segunda flui em qualquer direção, passando, muitas vezes, por cima dos níveis de autoridade.

This monograph is aimed at the analysis of informal communication within enterprises. The research methodology used was gathered from a previously published Brazilian bibliography, in particular books focusing on both formal and informal organizational communication.
Internal communication develops by means of two main networks within an enterprise, one formal, the other informal. The latter flows in all directions, sometimes transcending hierarchy.

Hi Kafetzou,

I made some corrections you suggested. But...

"bibliography" is the only word to be used here. I don' understand why you find it weird.
specially = particularly

What do you think?

In English, a bibliography can only be an actual list of publications used for a particular research project. It is a physical list, not an abstract concept. Since you have used it without an article here, I assumed you meant it as an abstract concept, as in the body of publications that have come out of Brazil, but if you mean an actual list, it should be "was gathered from a previously published Brazilian bibliography" - sorry that that didn't occur to me when I first saw the translation.

You're right I hadn't noticed the lack of an article either. I think the translation is fine now. (I want it to be perfect since it is part of Thatha's monograph)

But I'm still confused - I'm not sure this part is translated correctly: "Foi utilizada a metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica através do levantamento de literaturas brasileiras já publicadas principalmente em forma de livros" - it doesn't say Brazilian bibliography - Portuguese isn't one of my languages, but it looks like it says, "The methodology used was to do a literature search, choosing previously published Brazilian literature, mainly in the form of books..."

Here's Google's translation, which is astonishingly good:

This paper aims to examine the informal communication within organizations. It used the methodology of literature search through the lifting of Brazilian literature already published mainly in the form of books, dealing with issues of organizational communication, formal and informal.
Internal communication occurs according to two major networks within companies, one formal and one informal, and the second flowing in any direction, moving, often above the levels of authority.

That's a good translation, however the last paragraph doesn't match exactly the Portuguese text.
"...moving, often above the levels of authority."

"passando ...por cima" in Portuguese means: to surmount, not to respect.

I've made some changes, tell me what you think, OK?
