Voetafdrukjes op de badkamervloer,
lekker in bad geweest.
Voetafdrukjes langs de vloedlijn,
wandelen met papa en mama.
spelen met de wind.
Voetafdrukjes in de modder,
ravotten in de tuin.
het zijn de voetafdrukjes
die ik zo graag wil zien.
Maar het enige afdrukje dat ik zie
staat op het dressoir.
Het is er 1 van een voetje
dat nooit zal lopen of rennen.
De enige herinnering die ik heb

been having fun in bath.

walking with mom and dad.
Play with the wind.
Little footprints in the mud,
horse about in the garden.
It are those little footprints
that I'd like to see so much.
But the only footprint I see
is on the sideboard.
It is one of that little foot
that will never walk or run.
The only memory I have
is how it once kicked within my belly.
