This looks fine in English
As I don't speak Danish I need to ask for a poll.

I'm a bit surprised by your "bises" & your nickname: are you anglophone or francophone?
Probably both, isn't it?
There's so much in a nickname: this is one you choose youreself, when your surname...
I don't speak Danish either.
However, my Swedish is quite fluent, and the 3 main Scandinavian languages are quite similar. That's why I'm not afraid to try a short translation.

English is my mother tongue but French is my day to day language, since I live in Corsica, a Fench island in the Mediterranean
My nickname here is the name my (french) nephews & nieces call me by.

Corsica is a fabulous place to be - on holidays... I've spent there fabulous summer holidays twice, very differently.
I suppose that your way from Britain to Corsica was a long one... But I know that the Brits were the first to ski along the slopes of the Alps for instance, and one of my heroes still is Captain Cook, you see!
I believe that most of Corsica inhabitants have strong tempers (the first ones we met on our way from Ajaccio to Solenzara were pigs strolling in the middle of the road!) and may be difficult to cope with. However, there's one or two of them whom I appreciate very much: Jean-François Bernardini (i muvrini) and Yves Duteil, for different reasons.
One of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited was Bonifacio, on our way to "les îles Lavezzi".
I wish you a good night somewhere (anywhere) in Corsica

You'll have to come to Corsica again now, to visit me. I'm in a tiny village called Azzana about an hour up the mountain from Ajaccio.
mynameis, you voted against the validation of this translation but you have not motivated your decision. Can you let us know what the problem is?
If not, I'll validate the text without knowing
