Titre
Puri dad muro was telling us about our people,

Langue d'arrivée: Anglais

Puri dad muro was telling us about our people, the "lovara-grastari". My memories about the past are the memories of his own grandfather. We came from Hungary... his natal country. Our "Kumpania" haven’t changed much since. Horses gallop on the dirt road, over the fields, raising tons of dust. Caravans take shape in the landscape. When it gets dark, we camp. Friends, brothers, sisters, parents get together, huge fires are lighted, songs rise, dances fascinate, food and drinks flood - all these are the "patciv". Hi, Francky,

Do you have anything special in mind regarding this translation? We already have the French version here.
Are you looking for somebody in particular to translate it in English or can I do it as well?

Originally it was to check wether some Rromani speaking people were connected to cucumis.org, but apparently there aren't any...
So you can translate if you feel like, no problem for me, azitrad!

Hi azitrad,

"Puri dad muro" was translated as "Mon grand-père" (My grandfather) in the French version.
I wonder if it really a name as stated in the remarks.

I've set some words in inverted commas since they are not "translatable", however still related to the French version, "Kumpania" appears translated as "campagne" (countryside) perhaps we could use that.

What do you think?

Hi, Lilian,

My translation into Romanian was made after the French version suggested by Francky: here- somewhere on the third page.... There, Puri dad muro was left as it is, as a person's name, and also "Kumpania" which, I suppose, is a kind of native custom or something.
On the other hand, Burduf translated into French from my Romanian version, so......
