CC: Francky5591 | | | 3 September 2007 12:40 | | | I think this kind of "Homeworks" could be accept! it's just a sentence that will be use for an introduction...
| | | 3 September 2007 12:40 | | | But the requester is 27 and he explained in the comments frame he needs this translation for a speech for some university work. I don't think he gotta translate by himself, do you? | | | 3 September 2007 12:52 | | goncinNumber of messages: 3706 | Francky and Menininha,
Knowing the university system in Brazil, I can assert that is healthier to everyone that this should be request. We all Cucumers earn, because we won't do anyone else's homework; and the requester earns as well, as he will have to learn something, or seek for it elsewhere, but we wouldn't be blamed for that trick... CC: Francky5591 | | | 3 September 2007 13:01 | | | Nothing is less sure that it is a homework, maybe this guy was asked by his colleagues just to find a translation site and let this quote be translated, do you see what I mean? If it came from a kid who got some homework (translation into Latin for school that he's got to do by himself), it would be different then, I'd remove the translation request. Here I think this guy wants to translate a quote into Latin in order, as Menininha said, to get an introduction to a kind of a speech, and I think this guy doesn't know Latin at all, and this is why he's asking for our services... This is the feeling I have about this translation request. | | | 3 September 2007 13:06 | | goncinNumber of messages: 3706 | OK, OK, I've been won by 2 x 1. You convinced me. Let's help that guy! CC: Francky5591 | | | 3 September 2007 13:08 | | | I don't see as a trick...
To me it's just an detail for his work.
It's usual in dedication part put some Latin there even in best-sellers...
Where the authors find that sentences? Are they translate all? Search at net? Where is the diference?
In my opinion, would be a trick if we translated one whole text for someone who have to do this and ask for us... | | | 3 September 2007 13:11 | | | As usual I am late....
I was typing...
But is OK! |
