I would suggest so:
If the character doesn't sleep, it will faint (just like when you knock down people before you rob them)... If it doesn't eat, the energy bar will slowly come down and, if it reaches 0, the character will die... All these animations already exist inside the game, the biggest problem could be spurring the AI to eat and to sleep spontaneously at least once a day, when the need arises or at a fixed hour... I realize it is difficult, but I hope that some modder will get interested in this idea in order to carry it out...
This game would be a real delight if it were focused on surviving, it would be much more realistic and difficult.
