Yes, it is a rejection matter, unless the requester edits with caps for the substantives as it is compulsory in German. CC: iamfromaustria | | | 2008년 7월 7일 14:59 | | | Malika84, könntest du bitte nicht alles einfach klein schreiben, sondern Substantive, Satzanfänge etc. groß schreiben?
Well, let's wait for a reply of the translator before rejecting it. Besides, it's "meaning only", so I don't know if we should really be so strict... I mean, nowadays it's quite popular for internet users to write everything in small letters, but still, you understand the meaning (of course!). So what exactly is meant by "meaning only" if grammar, spelling, cap/small letters and everything else has to be correct anyway? CC: Francky5591 | | | 2008년 7월 7일 21:57 | | | | | | 2008년 7월 7일 22:12 | | | Good to know that. Still, I don't think the "meaning only"-mode is very useful, because I won't accept a half-correct translation anyway (if I'm aware of it). So why not just abolish this mode? I've never come across a case, where it was really time-sparing or anything else... CC: Francky5591 | | | 2008년 7월 7일 22:29 | | | It has been issued because we had many sms style requests, and the requesters just wanted to know the meaning of the message. But you'd agree that for it to be understandable to the one who requested, translation has to be at least correct on the way it reads in the target-language. You're not even obliged to translate precisely what was said (I mean word by word), only the general meaning of the (often messy) message is rendered, with (all the) informations it contents.
