je traduis comme ceci mais ne suis pas certain de ma traduction:

In tranquilittati et fiducia serit fortitudo vestra.

Notre expert en latin ne comprend pas bien le français, c'est pourquoi elle m'a demandé un "bridge" (en anglais), ceci afin de traduire vers le latin.

La traduction vers le français de votre texte en latin ne comporterait pas de "c'est...que", qui est une formulation assez spécifiquement française -avec une notion d'insistance-

Je crois en outre que "serit" est erroné, le futur simple et à la troisième personne au singulier du verbe être latin "esse" serait plutôt "erit", si je ne m'abuse.

Mais attendons de voir la traduction d'Aneta.

Merci mais je ne suis pas convaincu de la traduction d'Aneta qui traduit de l'anglais vers le latin. Voici la traduction de la Vulgate (en latin) je crois que l'on peut mieux à partir du texte hébreu. Je souhaite donc une traduction en LATIN à partir de l'HEBREU. Est-ce possible?

Latin is a very reach language and one English word we can translate in different ways. It depends on interpretation of the translator. e.g.

quietness: "quies" (the best one, because it can mean: calmnness, rest, silence) but "silentium" is also correct (it means rather: silence)

confidence: "confidentia" (the best one: exactly confidence, but also trusting, belief), but can be "spes" (which means especially: hope, trusting, waiting).

strenght: "vis" (in my opinion the best one because it means: strength so much physical as mental and spiritual), anyway, "fortitudo" can be too (but means rather only physical strength)

I don't agree with you that my translation isn't correct. Mine is even better because it is more literal I guess... I know what I say, believe me.

But, of course, I translated it from English, not from French, nor from Hebrew...
