Title
If you love you are not wise.
Text
Submitted by liliferg
Source language: English Translated by superfaco

If you love you are not wise and if you are wise you do not love; to err is human, to pardon is divine. Nobody really dances sober unless they are insane. Love conquers everything, before weapons laws are silent. Nobody really dances sober unless they are insane. Love conquers everything, abysmal spirit.
Remarks about the translation
This translation is not exact. I found that this text is some sort of compilation of different known Latin phrases related to human behaviour and love.
I found mistakes in it, I followed a text that was corrected by me, and I might have corrected it wrong, and thus the translation would be wrong as well. It was corrected as the following:

cum ames non sapias, aut cum sapias non ames; errare humanun est, ignocsere divinum.
nemo enim fere saltat sobrius nisi forte insanit.
omnia vincit amor, inter arma silent leges.
nemo enim fere saltat sobrius nisi forte insanit.
omnia vincit amor, abyssimus spiritus.

'Abyssimus' is vulgar Latin, and it derived to French as Abisme, and then in to English as abysmal, and it's the closest word I could find in that context.

Se você ama, não é sábio...
Translation
Portaingéilis (na Brasaíle)

Translated by lilian canale
Target language: Portaingéilis (na Brasaíle)

Se você ama, não é sábio e se você for sábio, não ama; errar é humano, perdoar é divino. Ninguém dança sóbrio a não ser que seja louco. O amor vence tudo, perante as armas as leis silenciam. Ninguém dança sóbrio a não ser que seja louco. O amor vence tudo, espírito sem limites.
