Remarks about the translation
Das ist doch wohl ein Witz, oder?

Ich hoffe, das jemand mein Deutsch korrigieren wird, da ich keine Muttersprachlerin bin.

I'm afraid that this translation (because of the original text itself) is really difficult, gamine; at least in some details.

I agree, Lev, but a native expert should be able to manage - at least I hope.

Apart from those missing words that Vesna J. and Merdogan have pointed out: „ihrer Kollegen oder Kinder” (and this is important), I would change:

für andere Tage => für einen anderen Tag
der Welt => die übrige Welt (or maybe "übrigen"...; I'm unsure about this.)

Finally, even if there are other possible, more literal ways of phrasing the text (or so it seems to me), I agree with Rick that the translation says, well said, what it has to say.

[I'm not a native speaker, gamine, as you well know ... Just trying to help a bit if I can, and if possible.].

Hello Lev. You may not be native neither am I but here I do agree with you again.

für andere Tage => für einen anderen Tag

der Welt => die übrigeN Welt ..

I don't think we need other changes now, but like you, I'm not native.

I would make the changes you have all suggested, but I no longer have access to the translation, as it "is being evaluated", but it has been this way for a long time.

Dear Kafetzou. I have edited the translation. Let me know if I have forgot something.

Actually, I don't understand why it should be "mit die übrigen Welt", and not "mit der übrigen Welt". Can someone please explain this?

Also, you missed one:
für einen anderen Tag gebrauchen --> für einen anderen Tag in der Woche gebrauchen

Hello Kafetzou. Sorry, had forgot a part of it. Have edited.
What's concerns "die" or "der" you make me unsure.
Actually, 'the world" is 'die Welt' in German but have checked it again and it seems that 'Der Welt" can be used too.
I pointed out that I'm no native. Just tried to help a bit.
And of course I can be wrong.

Hello Kafetzou and Lene,

According to my German dictionary, which I've checked now, both ways are valid: "die Welt" and "der Welt". Of course, with a slightly different meaning depending on the gender used; but both are compatible here.

How can that be? "mit" is a preposition and it changes the case of the noun phrase that follows it. The gender of "Welt" is still feminine, but the case is different.

Anyway, it seems that we REALLY need a German native speaker to help us out here!!!

Actually, I'm certain it's "mit der übrigen Welt" - here's an example: http://www.kidsgo.de/kritische-wochen/erste-wochen-schwangerschaft.php - "Teilen Sie Ihr Glück mit der ganzen Welt".

Thanks Kafetzou.
But tell me, have I done anything wrong by trying to help.
I don't think so.
You are right here, I agree.
But our german experts don't reply and there is no rule saying that we are not allowed to TRY to help.
I did my best and I was not the only one.

... Anyway, if it is "mit der übrigen Welt", as you defend, kafetzou, I adhere to Lene's words: we just tried to help to get this poll out the mud in which it was
No harm intended. And no harm done, most probably .

Hi, this is Vesna!
A little correction: In this text there is written: "Teilen Sie... mit die ganze Welt" The right translation of this part is: "Teilen Sie... mit der ganzen Welt." (Dative: With WHOM do I share?/Mit WEM teile ich? Mit DER übrigen Welt!)
I hope I could help you!
Bye!
Vesna

I think it is a good translation and it is grammatically correct. I wouldn't make any changes.
