I'm really not sure whether I understand this text right, so I just add my translation as a comment here and not as a translation.
Btw, in the title the name is written wrong.
"Nicht, dass Maria über den anderen Frauen stand, wenn es darum ging, auf Partys weiterzumachen. Sie war ein Königinnen-Model - eine geborene Anführerin."

Thanks. But I have no idea what "to carry on at partys"/"auf Partys weiterzumachen" is supposed to mean. And I actually don't know what a "queen pin" is, my translation to "Königinnen-Model" is a mere guess.

"to carry on at partys" means not the first to go home but to continue having a good time.So I think your translation is OK.
"Queenpin" is according to the Urban Dictionary:
The Queen.
Vicious, delicious, and ambitious. She is The Boss with sauce, large and in-charge, The Donna.

I cannot, however, find a definition for "Königinnen-Model". How did you come to this word?
May be we should just use the word "Königin". What do you think ?

Okay, thanks. "auf Partys weiterzumachen" isn't the way that would normally be expressed in German, though.
I had looked up queen pin in urbandictionary but I don't know how reliable that entry there is. I came up with my translation of it since I saw that it must have to do with some kind of good looking woman, and a "pin up girl" is a model - as you see, a mere guess. Maybe "Diva" is closer to what is meant here?
