One morning, Matthew goes out with his horse. Their neighbour Lady Lynde gets curious when she sees him and goes to Matthew's sister Marilla in order to ask her. Marilla and Matthew Green live in Gables. When Lady Lynde goes there, she asks where Matthew has gone; and when she founds out that they will adopt an orphan child, she shows a strong reaction. She says they know nothing about a child. Then Marilla says Matthew is now 60 years old and he needs someone to help him at the farm.

goes somewhere: goes out with (goes somewhere has a definite meaning in English while I think it's an indefinite meaning in Turkish..)

becomes curious: gets curious

she learns: she finds out (learns is also a typical Turkish words which is translated with 'find out')

and someone has to help him at the farm doesn't imply that that is the reason why he adopts a child: 'and he needs someone to help him at the farm' would be better here.

I'm not a native speaker of Turkish nor English so correct me if you don't agree
