| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Hello Lilly!
I don’t think that people of today "går till fjällen" ...lazy people
They probably go by car or train or maybe a snow cat.
Skida = ski. (the equipment)
My proposal is: "Jag skall åka till fjällen. Jag skall åka skidor!
Vad gör du för skojs skull!"
I also wonder why there is a "!" in the last sense, isn’t this a question?

You are right! They should walk a little more.
I changed to question mark despite of the exclamation in the original. I think the requester simply switched marks.
For skidor, yes, I really got a bit confused (we don't usually ski in Brazil, you know... )
Thanks, Pia, Swedish is a hard language to learn for a South American!!! |

Then I set a pole for this, since I don't understand Italian.
He,he... I understand that you can't ski that good in Brazil Lilly, but hey!! You got roots in Italy, right? They have big mountains I guess and lotsa snows

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | No..+10 is not good for snow, I know cause our winter this year doesn't bring snow. Too warm! And today it's more like spring, blue sky, and +8. I even found the first springflowers last weekend (!!!) very strange in Februari ...but for sure, we enjoy it!
Are you kidding now...fake skiing tracks I heared that they have something similar in Saudi Arabia. like an indoor ski resort...crazy! |

| | Hey Pia!
I should be embarassed for showing you these pathetic images of our skiing training, but ... this is the track I was talking about.
Please, don't laugh! |

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | No.. I don't laugh.
It's a bit crazy maybe, yes...but fun!
But tell me...what kind of snow is it? |
| | 23 February 2008 15:55 |
| | If you click on the first photo you'll see it's not snow, it's a sort of rubber, plastic, synthetic ground, which is really slippery. It is fake, but the view is wonderful! Besides, not being below 0 and skiing anyway, is great! |

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Yes...I see now!
What a view ...have you been "skiing" there Lilly?
About "weird" things that not belong were it is. Here we have something in the winter season called "Ljusterapi" (Light therapy), it’s to prevent people from feeling bad about the dark and boring period. And this year (I heard, never been there) that they have opened some sort of big solarium with a beach and all summer sounds that belongs there. I saw it on TV and the people looked like they were sweat... That's realy a fake!

| | Although is it a short drive from my city, no, I've never been there.
I don't think I'd like it. I have been to many "real" skiing resorts, but I'm not a real fan of snow.
I enjoy the beach, the hot sun or even a pool, but cold weather and snow...brrrrr! |

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Yes... I think that I understand what you mean,
I'm a bit suspicious about artificial "stuff" too.
I guess I like both snow and sun. (Summer and winter) Probably just because that's the reality here. We have them both...you know. But I prefer when the winter is winter (not like this year with rain, rain, rain)
Have a nice day in sunny Brazil!
