Mira res est! In this case, "mirabilis" (maravilhosa) is probably the most appropriate term.

Alright Pirulito.

I can see your point.

But would you please tell me why "Vita est mira/vita mira est" is not acceptable, and what kind of Latin you. Are referring to. I have always wanted to find the exact Latin dictionary. Is it modern Spanish Latin?

I think you should become Latin expert as you seem to have the extraordinary gift of knowing exactly how latin shold be translated.

As far as copying "quotes" I'm not regarding it as translations. A lot of popularized Latin devices are in strange Latin to.

So the question I wish to have a thorough explanation on: [b]"Exactly what wouldn't be understood of the latin translation?", why are you struggling for "exact quotes" the other day and "non quotes" the next.

2nd: I'll gladly finish my Latin work immediately to handle it over to you, truly glad to get rid of continous criticism from certain members. With your absolute fantastic Latin skills, and other net experiences you will be perfect.

I think we study another kind of Latin in northern Europe, and also practice the way of a humble way of expression our selves, and the Argentinian way are obviously the correct way, or is considered to be the right one... among some.

I'll inform JP that I resign.

- Livet är fantastiskt. Swe
- Liver er greit. Nor
(but that you already know I suppose)

Vad pågår? Just a suggestion! Sorry to bother you... please, don't be rude.

Ad primum ergo dicendum quod:

“Vita mira est” is unacceptable, because “mirus –a –um ” is ambiguous here (cf. subst. mira –orum , n., wonders, marvels, v. gr. septem mira , the seven wonders of the world) and even it usually is pejorative, v. gr.:

Mira res est!
Mira quidem, sed tamen acta, loquor (Ovid's Fasti, VI, v. 612).

Apart from that there is the etymological origen of the word "maravilhosa" (from lat. mirabilia), so "mirabilis" is probably the most appropriate term in this case.

Ad secundum dicendum quod:

You are a good Latin expert, but if I see something wrong, I just say it. I don’t want to be a nuisance to you. Take it easy and keep up your good work!

Hi guys,

Latin is not a spoken language anymore, most of the translations are for tatoos, titles, names etc.. I don't think we need the same accuracy as for the other languages.

Porfyhr hopefully you don't resign, expert is a hard thing because everybody wants to find the little mistake of the expert
And latin expert is even harder as they are so many posibilities to translate.

I think it would be a great thing that there are more than one latin expert because it's not an easy language to evaluate. We'll see who can become also latin expert.
