Kafetzou,

I think this sentence is an implied question, although there's no question mark at the end. That's why I put the verb before the subject. But feel free to edit if you think other way.

Best regards,

Beg pardon, I did an error, when gave a request for a translation. At first I asked to translate into Ukrainian, Russian or Polish, languages which own freely. And later, with the purpose of to accelerate a process added English which I do not know well enough.
now I do not know that to do farther. in relation to the estimation of translation, done goncin, does not know also, I must do an estimation?

«QUO NON ASCENDAM»
I met this text in the signature of one participant one of the Ukrainian's internet forum, that is why this text can contain an error. I wanted only to understand maintenance of utterance and hoped that will understand the English translation. unfortunately my knowledges of English do not allow me to do it. possibly I will repeat the request for the translation of this phrase other language.

slbgz, young members (less than 3 days) can only translate into their native laguage (ukrainian for you). Tomorrow you can tanslate into polish or russian. But you must speak fluently those 2 languages of course.

I can't completely agree with the translation into English. I found more precise translation of this phrase into English in several sources. Here it is: "To what heights can we not ascend". It sounds better and closer in meaning.

But where are "heights" and "we" in the Latin text?

Anyway, it would be "ascend", not "accent"!!

For guilon information: the translation should be literary and render the meaning but not to be word-by-word. It's known for all translators. QUO NON ASCENDAM is a motto on Fouquet's coat of arms under the picture of a squirrel. It's quite famous phrase that's why it can't be translated as "Where I won't rise". You can check my variant ("To what heights can we not ascend" on the Internet. It does exist!
