Hello!
Is there any conjugated verb in this text?
(If not, the request shouldn't have been accepted, nor translated into 2 other languages already!)

Thanks for your reply Garret. What I was meaning is that "why not" are single words, a request that is just submitted with these two words is not an acceptable request, according to our rule # [4] that tells :

[4] ПЕРЕВОД ОТДЕЛЬНЫХ СЛОВ НЕ ДОПУСКАЕТСЯ. Cucumis.org — не словарь, поэтому запросы на перевод отдельных слов и слов вне контекста будут приняты только в том случае, если в комментариях вы укажете достаточно вескую причину.

Thus the two translations that were done from this text are to be rejected, in order to remove this request.

Francky, in this case this is not fare

This is not single words - this is complete sentence and it sounds different in Russian (and i believe in Latin too) so, I`am asking you not to delete this request.

Do you mean "fair"?

"why not translating this sentence" would have been accepted for translation, but simply "why not" can't be accepted; it doesn't eat a lot more points but it would have shown the good willing of the user in respecting our rules.

I'm always trying to be consensual with users, as it seems it is not always obvious to follow our rules (we have plenty of texts that are out of frame despite our warning on this page )

"why not" is not a complete sentence, I'm sorry but if requester had read this rule# [4] carefuly, maybe he would've made an effort and submit a text that is not made only with single or isolated words.

As I said not later than today, with more than 140 thousand users, we cannot take all the requests individually in consideration, and as an admin I'm just here to apply our rules and reject requests that are out of frame

A complete sentence is a sentence that has at least one subject and one verb, does the Russian version has any of it?

If yes, I can submit it again, but only at this condition.

Franky, I dont want to dispute with you, if you want - delete this request,
But you are not right. Many languages (and Russian too) can may not have subject or verb - ths called impersonal / verbless sentence.

OK, you rule for Russian (as mine is very reduced! )

And as Russian is the source-text, I'll reaccept the translations and submit the request into Latin again.

Thanks for your explanation Garret! everything is like it was before, I left translations into Italian and English to be validated by their respective experts.
