I know Yuliya from the Begabtenförderprogramm (scholarship programme for talented young people) of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) (Konrad Adenauer Foundation), where she was admitted as a citizen of Kazakhstan of 2009. She stood out particularly because of her very interesting contributions on the international politics of China and Russia.
Since October 2009, she has been a successful student of East Asian Studies at the University of Berlin, so she will receive the KAS scholarship until February 2012 and we are confident she will successfully complete her studies on time. Already as an International Student in 2011 she went to the state university in Beijing to extend her knowledge of the Chinese language and country further. Her strong desire to study economics in conjunction with the Chinese language can also be expected to lead to good and interesting results in the future.
She has therefore shown herself to be a very linguistically talented student, who with her excellent knowledge of German always participated actively and without any problems in the KAS-seminars.
