| | Hello!
Can you give me a bridge in english for this translation?
Sipahi37 said that this message is especific, and the translation isn't enough. Although there's 4 votes saying that is right, I must know why he said it's wrong.
Thank you. CC: kafetzou serba |

| | I've done the bridge translation. I think the Portuguese is perfect except for this sentence:
"Ele morreu na noite de segunda-feira em 662."
This is a little confusing in the original text, but apparently it refers to the fact that Mohammed was born and died on the same day on the Islamic calendar. |
| | 4 November 2007 14:43 |
| | In the portuguese version means: "He died in monday's night in 662."
Nothing about being born. |
| | 4 November 2007 14:56 |
| | OK; it's correct then - except for the year: 632. |
| | 11 November 2007 04:39 |
| | The last sentence could be: Vamos reunir ao menos 7 pessoas para relembrá-lo, pelo amor de Deus! / por Deus
Thatha and what if we say: Nosso profeta nasceu no décimo segundo dia do mês de Rabi al-Awwal? |

| | I edited some things...
Did I miss anything? |

| barokNumber of messages: 105 | Hi,
I did the translation and it was a bit hard, to be honest, because there were some old words to be translated.
Anyway, I did this translation a long time ago, why is it still around here?
Yes I see I wrote "662" instead of "632" it must be a typo. Please correct it.
I wrote "Pelo amor de Deus, vamos reunir ao menos 7 pessoas para relembrá-lo." In fact it should be "For God's sake, let's remind, at least 7 people of this" I don't know why I wrote "reunir" maybe you guys find something better.
And also I forgot to write "Mawlid é..." in the remarks about the translation space. It should be like this :"Mawlid é o Festejo do nascimento de Maomé." I also wrote Maomé instead of "Muhammad", which name is used more in Portuguese?
Ok...now you do the corrections

| | 632 = 662 ??
" A 30 de março..." => It's missing: "Nabi", "sexta-feira à noite" |
| | 12 November 2007 03:35 |
| | Barok - you say it should be "For God's sake, let's remind, at least 7 people of this" in Portuguese would be "Pelo amor de Deus, vamos lembrar ao menos 7 pessoas disso"
But it's good in Portuguese according to the current translation in English as I don't know anything of Turkish.
It's really missing an Nabi and sexta-feira à noite and waiting to be changed from 662 to 632.
Regarding the name I've heard already Maomé, Muhammad and Mohammed

| barokNumber of messages: 105 | Hello I guess, Mawlid an-Nabi is the same with "Mawlid" on its own...
But 662 should have changed to 632 !! but it is still 662 and waiting to be evaluated by me!! What should I do? should I say "yes" or "no" to my own translation? |
| | 12 November 2007 04:40 |
| | It asks you to help in evaluating because according to your profile you can read Brazilian Portuguese. It also asks me yes or no.
Well, considering the way it is I think it's incomplete and I vote no for now.
Maybe you can choose I don't know |
