Thanks. Just out of curiosity, how about "attach importance"? (who attaches so much importance to memories) I, actually, heard a lot about 'give importance' from the texts I read.

"gives a lot of importance" sounds very official - not really something to tell a (would-be) friend about yourself. "attach importance" sounds better, but still very heavy. I attach a lot of importance to honesty and true friendship but for photos and memories I would not use such grave words
