I just got here in time... May we and especially your beautiful family enjoy your presence for years to come. Live long and be always healthy and happy. Lots of kisses to our boy and to our girl!
Details voor de vertaling
This can't be translated in English easily. It's a bunch of common wishes that Greeks give on birthdays. "Live long" is basically "May you reach 100" but that sounds funny in English so I'll stick with "Live long". "γερός" is translated as "healthy and strong enough to withstand everything that life throws at you". I'll stick with "healthy" here although it means more than that. "ίσα που πρόλαβα" probably means that he just got here in time to give him his wishes for his birthday although without more context I can't be sure. Maybe he sent his wishes at 23:55 on the day of John's birthday? :-) Finally at the very beginning something is missing. I'm guessing that a name is missing and under that assumption I translated the sentence using "[...]" in place of the missing name. Oh and "Γιάνναρε" is the augmentative form of "Γιάννη" which is "John" in English. I don't think English has got augmentative forms for names though. Maybe something like "big John" but that sound like it's coming out of a western film.

I'm sorry for this but could someone change "Live long" to "John, live long" ?

I commented on the "john" issue on my translation notes but I forgot to include the name in the translation!
