The norwegian translation here is "Jeg elsker De min elskling"

This is like a girl saying "I love you, sir", which wouldn't make much sense.

The correct, or most common translation would be "Jeg elsker deg, kjære"

Just editing with Jon Arne's version would be fine (he's a native speaker)
Jon, would "Jeg elsker deg, min kjære" be correct?
If it is, we better edit with it. If not, how do you say "my darling"? (sorry, I'm a complete beotian in Norwegian!lol)
