| Hi Ian,
I like communicating, and one thing that can be said about cucumis is that people on here want to communicate.
I never feel like I'm on internet whilst I'm here. I like your "cubicle" idea, maybe they are cucubicles?
Did you join the Postcard Party? If you like, I'll give you the link), et ici, dans ton "salon".
Bises and Hugs
Ruth/Tantine

| Hi Ian, can you help me with a bridge in English here: http://www.cucumis.org/translation_1_t/view-the-translation_v_71233.html?
I know it is a long translation, but there is no way it will be ever translated in Romanian unless I get a bridge. I asked Polar bear, he just ignored me, so I thought maybe you can help and, in exchange, I'll donate half of the points. Thank you very much. |

| Bonjour Ian!
Maybe you could help us here
It says 'to be prophesied for an early slide' but
the whole thing says 'She was prophesied for an early slide, followed it to the letter'
So, what's an 'early slide' in the context?
Something related to mistakes one does in life? |

| Hi!
My last messages to Mikhail:
Well.
It's just this: a collection of words, like a dictionary
I'll send a message to an admin to remove this one, OK?
And that was just a bridge of a text sent in swedish to be translated into japanese.
They were not mine.
I know that's hard to translate words separatedly without context into japanese |

| Well. I don't understand all your disapointment. I didnt "choose" ミãƒã‚¤ãƒ«, he was just the one I (being kind to retribute all of his help) thought would want to do it (and maybe I just didn't remember you as one to transalte into japanese, as your stereotype to me is as an English speaker. I wonder japanese and remember Mikhail, English: Kaf, Tantine and you).
Nobody have ever bridged me a text and that was not a motive for me to be so upset.
Usually the bridge is sent to the person who's going to submit this translation, so I couldn't submit it and get all of those points.
I'm really sorry. |

| Hi, me and rodrigues are doing the big big german text into english
but I got 1 question!
what is best translation for this?
Sprach Elias in der Hammer-Arie Nr 17 nur von des Herrn Wort, äußert er sich in der Wüstenarie Nr 26 nur über sich selbst „ich begehre nicht mehr zu leben, denn meine Tage sind vergeblich gewesen".
As Elias only spoke of the word of God in the hammer-aria N° 17, did he express himself in the desert-aria N°26 “I desire to, not living anymore, because my days are in vain!"
nor me nor Rodrigues are native english speakers so |
| 24 Lokakuu 2007 12:42 |
| Yea well
My german isn't perfect either, but normally I would understand (but this is just a very, very difficult text )
Well, I understand the way you write! (but I can never write that myself, so when I translate everything, it will never be that good!)
|

| how you say this?
Die Wüstenarie dagegen verkürzt die Reprise um mehr als die Hälfte
the Desert Aria on the other hand, shortens the recapitulation by more than a half?
(nothing literally, but is this good?) |
| 24 Lokakuu 2007 13:32 |
| pff!!
Oké thanks..
that text is sooo difficult!
btw, how many languages do you speak (well, not fluent.. but like as german and stuff!)
