How do I sound to you? For Fun

Hello everyone, I have a very interesting and fun subject to propose, you know how we usually immitate other languages by repeating phrases and sounds as we hear them speak, for instance, the japanese sounded to me like they only know two letters :Y and N (YEN) (french n) so it would be yon yan yen yyyan yaan!

so Im curious, how do I sound to you? I speak Arabic.

Hm.... it´s really difficult to describe, but Arabic (which I find a really beautiful language, actually!!! ) sounds to me like this:
ahallah hamallah mallaballa hamallah...

Anyone heard Hungarian?

Hungarian must me something like cha-cha-cha: chak chek chik chok chuk. Lots of fricatives!

I agree Goncin! Hungarian sounds like some kind of Shza-shza with a lot of ö among the zcha-hcas... absolutely impossible to understand!

hebrew to me is :khashakhasha khasha khasha, but ull be surprised the letter "kh" doesnt originally exist in the hebrew alphabet :s
i never heard a hungarian talk but a protugues is: ballabbayyettas balabbecos

Japanese I always remind some movies from Akira Kurosawa, and it is weird, elmota, that you could hear such sounds from Japanese! (but everything is subjective with our respective ears)





I better remind Japanese sounds as "UOOOOh DEHASHIBARAÏ! ANNNNNGEZAKATAMé!DOOOMO HUNDAÏ SAN! HHHAÏ! ALIGATO!
most of the time with a sepulchral voice.
Or little Japanese girls saying "Moshi-moshi" with high perched voices (hi-hi-hi!)

About Arabic calligraphy I think it is very beautiful, but it is true that on cucumis (I already told that to JP once) size of the characters is too small comparated to Latin characters. I've never seen more beautiful calligraphy. Once -it was in 2001- I was going to learn Arabic (talking, reading and -most difficult- writing), but -unfortunately I just found a job, then I couldn't go to the Arabic courses, too bad, I would have liked to learn)...

Yeah, I also wanted to learn Arabic. (And I´m still thinking about it, maybe after Uni ). The writing is really beautiful!!! I have never seen a Japanese movie yet, but I really love it when elder Japanese guys are angry and start quarelling in that looooow voice, that sounds sooo funny to me! Girls speak with such a high voice and so ´cutely´, I think it sounds very funny to a European ear. My favourite is ´Ii desu ne´, girls say it like: iiiiiiiiiiiiiidesneeeeeee.

Yeah, Hebrew sounds just the same to me! :P I knew you don´t use diacritics. But then HOW do you know which word it is about when read?? (Of course you know, it´s just so strange to me )

If you have Windows on your computer, you can download and install this little program. Anyway, you can always use the "x" notation: Mi sxatas.
