Hi, Angelus!

It's called "Capelinha" because it started as a very small chapel. A much larger church was built in the same place, but the old name remained...

You know, diminutives are also to express tenderness in Portuguese!

I'm glad you liked it!

Ana, of course you can expect receiving a postcard from me, because I'll look for them when I go to Aparecida. (a link for those who want further information)

It's nice to know you lived here in Itápolis.. When was it and why you moved out? Two friends of mine on college are from Monte Alto
I also thought it is a good idea to take pictures of our cities and send as postcards, but first I should own a digital camera

Today Iepurica & Bamsa's card has arrived to my inbox. It's a beatiful aerial landscape from Faroe Islands coast. I hope I'll be able to scan and post it here tomorrow.

Thanks you both, I enjoyed it a bunch!

Today weather has turned unusually colder for this year's season. Iepurica, was it your postcard that caused that?

I'm glad you like it, took a while till Brazil. Faroe Islands has incrredible landscapes, I still discover new places, even after 5 years and even the islands are only 1400 km2 divided between 22 islands (18 inhabited)....

And talking about the weather.... maybe! Even here there are 10C still (almost summer I could say) and in Romania (which much southern) snowed in the mountains.

Sorry for interrupting ...but I can't keep my big mouth closed. :/ Is'nt this strange...the weather'thing'...I mean.. you goncin telling you have cold weather down there and lepurica far up in north, Faroese Island (as well as Sweden)
still having warm weather due to the season.
The winters in Sweden seem to bee much milder nowadays than back in time, (15-20 yrs) and the summers are being much warmer to I guess. Last year there wasn't snow before christmas, a verry green christmas! The treas where still green and the leaves have'nt fall down even in December.
Well It's good to not have thoose verry, verry cold winters...but at the same time a bit alarming... Something is happening to this big globe.
