I am trying to learn turkish, but are having some problems understanding the meaning and difference of the following words.
How can bitmesin mean not end, and bitmesini mean end? - if it is correckt :-)
bitmesini - end?
bitmesin - not end?
Hope you can explain...thanks | | 2011年 6月 1日 09:45 | | Dear Ertan!
Can you help me on a place name?
The Greek form of this Pontic city is ΠαϋÏάη,
which may pronounce Pa-yu-rai, and the city was ancient place, which is in current Turkey, or northeastern Turkey.
So Can you help me to find its location?
Many Thanks! | | 2011年 6月 4日 04:26 | | Thank you, Ertan!
Yes, it is Pontus, but the city of Payrai is only a small pace in Pontus, not the whole.
So I guess it might be Bafra at present.
Can you recognize it? | | 2011年 6月 6日 13:24 | | Dear Ertan,
I think 80 percent Bafra is the answer.
In fact, I find this name from a history book.
To read a history, it is fair to know where it is located.
| | 2011年 6月 13日 05:06 | | Dear Ertan!
Can you please help me to recognize the spell of a Turkish place?
In a historic battle of Köşe Dağ, or Köse Dağ?
I think Köşe means differently with Köse, and the first one may be translated into Corner Mountain, and the second Bold Mountain.
So, as you are native Turkish, can you tell me which is the real mountain?
Many thanks in advance! | | 2011年 7月 1日 05:07 | | Miss. Ertan, Thank you very much!
