約 25 件中 1 - 20 件目 | | | 2008年 7月 13日 05:54 | | Umm ... this might not be about sleeping ...
How about "when we go to bed again"? | | 2008年 7月 14日 16:59 | | I'd say
"I can't wait to lie down (to go to bed) again tonight" | | 2008年 7月 14日 19:31 | | No, I don't think so - "go to bed" is better - "lie down" sounds strange in this context, unless you say "lie down with you", but even that is a bit odd. | | 2008年 7月 14日 19:36 | | I also prefer "go to bed". | | 2008年 7月 15日 01:05 | | I changed it and validated it. | | 2008年 7月 17日 18:10 | | Girls hi! In this translation there's a sexual connotation nο? CC: lilian canale | | 2008年 7月 17日 18:27 | | It may, but nothing indecent. | | 2008年 7月 17日 18:31 | | So I should prefer a word that could imply that too or not? CC: lilian canale | | 2008年 7月 17日 19:10 | | Well, yes, but not a vulgar one. | | 2008年 7月 17日 19:14 | | Ο.k. because dunya insists that it can't have that connotation too and it only shows a person that wants to sleep because he's tired....! CC: lilian canale | | 2008年 7月 17日 19:18 | | I don't think so, I think the meaning is quite clear. The person looks forward for the night to come so s/he will be in bed with the other person. As Kafetzou said above, It has nothing to do with "sleeping". | | 2008年 7月 17日 19:20 | | Thanks anyway!That's what I understand too but...
I'll ask Kafetzou to help me in the greek one!
CC: lilian canale | | 2008年 7月 17日 23:29 | | Sorry but French is my mother tongue and I AM SURE there is no sexual connotation here. If you are not sure, please ask a native French educated person like Francky5591 for instance. | | 2008年 7月 18日 03:44 | | dunya_guzel, I trust you. I think we should make sure that every language can be interpreted either way, if possible, though.
Francky, if you're back, Tantine, what do you think? CC: Tantine Francky5591 | | 2008年 7月 18日 12:26 | | I agree with dunya_guzel, nothing indicates any sexual connotation in this text, even implicitely. | | 2008年 7月 18日 12:34 | | | | 2008年 7月 18日 16:41 | | Hi All
I agree with dunya_guzel and Francky that there is no implicit sexual connotation here. I would even add that “on†does not necessarily mean “we†in English and can be translated as “oneâ€. This phrase does not even imply that one or more persons will be sharing the same bed.
I could even suggest that “Can’t wait to go back to bed this evening†might be the least ambiguous way of translating this.
Hope this helps

| | 2008年 7月 18日 18:47 | | Thanks, Tantine - it looks like I was totally off base on this one. | | 2008年 7月 18日 21:28 | | Kafetzou, count me too ! | | | 2008年 7月 18日 21:32 | | You can count three!!! |
